There's a very specific image I think of when I think about my childhood bedroom. The lime green walls, the framed horse picture above the headboard, the vinyl stickers so carefully curated.
That room is now freshly painted, the furniture replaced, new frames waiting to be hung. But whenever I visit, I still expect to see the bedroom as the space that formed me. The space that I both grew into, and grew out of.
This photograph captures a transitionary period. Of leaving, new beginnings, and moving on.
Photographed on a Hasselblad 503cx using Kodak 400TX medium format film.
